This optional insurance waiver covers accidental and minor damages caused to the equipment while it is being transported or operated during the rental period. Although not mandatory, the insurance is strongly recommended. This insurance waiver does not cover theft or loss of the equipment. It also does not cover major damages, including but not limited to damage, tears, rips, or excessive wear to seats; broken, lost, or damaged keys; or major cracks, structural damage, or breakage to the scooter or equipment casing that requires full replacement of the component. Any damage that falls outside the scope of minor or accidental damage will be the responsibility of the renter and will be charged at the applicable repair or replacement cost.
